Never liked the looks of the current 3er, but there's something about the M3 and it has everything to do with the M4.

The M3 has the same track as the M4, but the 4er's body is significantly wider than the 3er's. That means the M4 doesn't need any changes to the bodywork to fit the wheels and tires. The M3... gets some flares.

It just looks so very right sitting on the ground.

This is incorrect. The M4 is wider than the regular 4 series. But because they didn't have to account for a second set of doors, the wider rear can be more easily adapted into the M design language. The M3 fenders looks wider to eye (than the M4) because the flares had so little room to be adapted after the second set of doors ended. So the M3 looks far more aggressive than the M4.

And I agree, this M3 looks so much better than the last M3. The M4 has gone more GT cruiser than track weapon, and I ordered my M4 for that reason.

Haha, speaking of lift kits, i bought a 1 series coupe a few years ago and the factory warranty ran out jsut this past month. I have been getting calls and they always ask me, "have you done anything to the car, like added a lift kit?". Dumbasses.
